Kiri Koshiba uses her talents to brighten the lives of the Hair Styling girl, but she does so anonymously. On the other hand scissors Project (also known as SP), a group of three boys are in school, grand makeovers to handpicked already beautiful girls. Shogo Narumi, head of the group and a hairstyling genius in his own right, is found BUTTING heads with Kiri. To make matters worse, by Ochiai, another member of the SP, land suspend Kiri talents. As much as Kiri tries to shy away from the spotlight, she finds herself drawn into the world of hairstyling.

Kiri Koshiba (, Koshiba Kiri?)
A naturally gifted stylist with a strong sense of justice, led them makeovers to girls with certain problems and them, as they says, give "a little magic." Her family owns a beauty salon. She cut her own hair in a layered bob cut and stop hair as a result of random Cutting her mother's ear, while her hair styling, when she was much younger. The accident Kiri with a mental scar, which remains her favorite place. Kiri is also afraid against cockroaches and darkness.
Although Kiri is first about what they will do in future with her confused, she finally decides to become a beautician, but has no interest in pursuing fame with her talent. In Beauty Pop Stage 2, they include the Scissor project as an assistant hairdresser's Narumi.
Kiri tends extremely relaxed and mentally absent. Narumi and Kiri relationship is rocky at first, but Kiri warms to him after he saves Shampoo front of a bike run so harmful his wrist. The end of the series shows that ten years later, Kiri back to Japan after a short stint with her mother in LA and has Narumi married, they have dizygotic Twins (one girl and one boy). The boy (who looks like Narumi) looks more like Kiri, while the girl (who looks like Kiri) is like her father.
Shogo Narumi (, Narumi fitting To?)
The vain, handsome, and lively main hairdressing scissors project. Although he fought hard in comparison to most other characters, he is the most accessible member of his own family.
Narumi is extremely popular with the girls, but he has no interest in part to little fear of girls appear. Since Narumi was young, girls treated him like a toy and suffocated him with too much attention. According to his sister Chisami breaks Narumi in hives when he touched women. He is able, Kiri without touching any harmful effects, however. Narumi eventually develops feelings for Kiri, with romantic dreams about them and also not to accidentally kiss at the end of Volume 8 He remains with Kiri to comfort and watch over the house, 9 in Volume
Narumi goals above are hair-stylist in Japan and has won every national competition Hair Styling for seven years. The only time that he has lost a competition, ten years ago, when he struck by a mysterious little girl "Number 17" revealed later Kiri. Ultimately, Narumi and the crew of the scissors project officially opened a well known and popular salon known as Scissors Project. He also marries Kiri and dizygotic twins (a boy and a girl). The girl looks more like him during the Young, more like his mother.
Kazuhiko Ochiai (, Ochiai Kazuhiko?)
The whole beauty consultant of the group. He is the brains behind the operation and effect of a human-computer with "data" on every girl in school. He is also responsible for make-up on the team and is supported by the products of the family business. He is also at the top of his class. Ochiai has an older sister and a younger brother, all members of his family wear glasses, and his bird.
Ochiai loves Narumi tease and is often intriguing. developed later in history Ochiai Kiri crush. He chases after her and has even Kiri image as his phone's wallpaper. In the end, though Narumi and Kiri have married, he still refuses to give up their own teaching Kiri and Narumi's children call him "Papa". He also often has to Events Events to prevent hours for Narumi him home to Kiri so can Ochiai like to go in his place.
Kei Minami (, Minami Kei?)
The member of the scissors Project, Nail Art does. Kei is playful and is often seen eating junk food and sweets. Kei might come up with nicknames for his friends as "Naru-Naru," and "Narurin" for Narumi as he Ochiai "Occhi" calls. He also serves as emcee for all events Scissors Project, announces the model and occasional comments Narumi during cuts. He is wearing his school uniform and almost never wears a shield on the side of his head.
Kei is not good in spelling, will receive a one a "5%" to check their spelling. For this reason, a project failed scissors model and the scheme to love a girl because he incorrectly spelled the model's Crush name. In reality, Kei very mysterious and reveals little about himself, and is attentive to that Narumi and Ochiai expect it. Somehow, Kei has the ability knowing what and when something happens, even if he is not present (including Narumi dreams about Kiri). His snooping sense is even better than Ochiai's. The End points back Kei accompanied Narumi and Kiri's twins to Koshiba's Beauty Salon for lunch.
Kanako Aoyama (, Aoyama Kanako?)
A friend of Kiri's who admired her talent. Kanako is rather shy and bookish. When she was rejected by Kazuhiko Ochiai, Kiri was to teach her a makeover, the scissors project a Lesson. According to SP from the original model back in the finals, so it ends up filling correctly set in. Kiri, that although it looks clear, Kanako perfect hair, skin and Nails has, and therefore the perfect model. Your "Ordinary girl in love" look wins in the end, the glamorous models of the other teams. You and Kenichiro expecting their first child at the end of the series.
Taro Komatsu (, Komatsu tar?)
Kiri's childhood friend and neighbor. Kiri calls him "Shimatarou" or "Taro-Tard" him very angry. Can Taro is a big fan of the Scissor project and would like a beautician, because to be among them, although it lacks. He works part time at his save family Komatsu 88 Yen Store. He is very curious and knows everything that goes on around the school.
"Shampoo" ("Shanp?)
Kiri's Fat cat. Shampoo was the first time a stray who would not trust anyone, a bad past. When they met Kiri, Shampoo scratched hand. However, it recognizes that Kiri was not like other people she had seen since the mean and heartless had. Shampoo tears and was taken home by Kiri.
Iori Minamoto (, Minamoto Iori?)
Kiri's childhood friend, who recently moved back to Japan from New York. His father is specialized in the production of aromatic oils and perfumes. He is obviously in love with Kiri's mother and is very devoted to Kiri. Iori sometimes speaks with a broken Japanese, including random English words. He often uses "I" or "you" in such statements as "I will do it for the ladies!" or "She's safe with me, Kiri!" He lands on Chisami employed at the end, despite their constant quarrels.
Seiji Koshiba (, Seiji Koshiba?)
Kiri's father owns the Koshiba Beauty Salon and was the one who Kiri in the Art of Hair Styling train. Seiji used to have an idol as hairdressers in his generation and always defeated Shogo Narumi father in competitions, but left the spotlight after he married. Kiri looked up to her father when she was younger and wanted to cut hair like him. Kiri won her speed cutting skills from her father. Seiji wishes for Kiri to be a beautician as him.
Emi Koshiba (, Koshiba Emi?)
Kiri's mother is a famous special effects make-up artist in Hollywood. Even after years Emi lives in LA, Emi and Seiji marriage was never brought and the two remain in contact by e-mail. Although a friendly person, she turns very hard and somewhat inappropriate for have someone threatens Kiri. Iori usually called them under the name "Emily".
Kenichiro Seki (Seki Ken'ichir?)
Kiri's childhood friend. He is regarded as part of the Seki clinic that specializes in invigorating massage. He helps her composure under pressure Kiri again and is like an older brother to her. He tendency to apologize too often. Kenichiro seems to have a different attitude after only a little alcohol. Kenichiro ends with Kiri's friend Kanako good, and ten years later, they are expecting their first child.
Chisami Narumi (, Narumi Chisami?)
Narumi's younger sister, Kiri indifferent "saves" One day, when her hair was tangled in a bush. For this reason Chisami seems to think that Kiri is her Prince Charming (because they thought Kiri was a boy). She later finds out that Kiri is a girl, but she admires and she still refers to her as Prince-sama. In the end, it ends Iori exposure, although they are still arguing often.
Billy Iketani (, Bir Iketani?)
A famous sweet hairdresser from LA who is always depicted with headphones around his neck. Billy works for Narumi father. Billy is the legendary Golden Scissors away by Kiri on Narumi father's orders, but later they exist.

Manga
Beauty Pop ran in Ciao magazine for a total of 51 chapters later in 10 volumes of bound Publisher Shogakukan. Viz Media licensed the manga for the English version on their Shojo Beat line. The series enjoyed a short break from Ciao, came back but in the October 2006 under the new title Beauty Pop Stage 2, although the volumes remained even in the name of Beauty Pop.
